In this intimate experience, you’ll work one-on-one with our Owner and Designer, Carli, at her Granville Island studio. Together, you’ll sit at her jeweller's bench to carve a one-of-a-kind band in wax that will then be cast in the metal of your choice. Whether you wish to create a simple band of gold or add in stones and engravings, this experience will infuse your wedding bands with sentiment for that once-in-a-lifetime moment, and every day after.

Ready to create your truly custom wedding bands? Bookings can be made for individuals or in groups of 2 or 4 (did someone say girls night out!). We recommend gathering as much inspiration as possible beforehand, and coming to your session prepared with a style or ‘look’ you prefer to help guide your experience.

On the day of your session, you’ll meet with Carli at our beautiful Granville Island studio. You will sit together at her jewelers bench, and work to hand carve wax band prototypes from jeweler's wax using an array of instruments. From inspiration to creation, you will get to touch, feel, and see your bands come to life. 

After your session, Carli will cast your rings in the metal of your choice, via the Lost Wax Casting process. Any additional services requested will be added, and your ring will be polished to perfection. You’ll be notified when your rings are ready, and we’ll meet with you again in-studio to do a final fitting to make sure it is just perfect.

We create heirlooms, made to last a lifetime and beyond. We hope that you always remember the love that went into making your rings, and that they will be carried on for generations to come.

Depending on the additional services required, the entire process can take upwards of 3 weeks from your in-studio session to the final fitting. On a tight timeline? No sweat! We can almost always accommodate rush orders within 7 days if necessary.

Around here, we lead with transparency. This service is priced per ring. A session for 1 = 1 ring... A session for 2 = 2 rings, etc. Most importantly, please note that this is just the cost of the experience and the wax ring carving. All fabrication costs such as casting, the weight of the metal, gemstones, engravings, and polishing will be discussed and charged in addition to your session cost. The payment for fabrication is paid upon completion, when you pick your finished ring up.

We are not currently taking deposits at the time of booking! Your session cost will be charged after our appointment is complete and you have your wax ring carving made.

Something big came up and you can’t make your session? We get it! We ask that cancellations be made up to 72 hours before the session date. Within 72 hours, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. Rebooking is subject to availability.

Firstly, (and most importantly) we recommend bringing in any inspiration you have for your ring! We’ll discuss your vision and goals at the beginning of the session, but having a clear idea of what you would like to create will help guide your experience. A change of clothes is also a great idea as when we carve with jeweller's wax, it can get a bit dusty! For individual bookings, you are more than welcome to bring your partner or a friend, but we request that you keep your entourage to a limit of one person. 

Absolutely! We would be more than honored to be able to repurpose your heirloom gold. We just ask that you bring your gold to your session so we can test your gold and make sure we have enough for the process.
